Microsoft has provided their chat application that is Windows Live Messenger version of the iPhone. They provide the software free for download from the App Store iPhone users.

Application size is 7.2 MB can be downloaded starting this weekend. And just like when the application is run on Windows-based operating system, Windows Live Messenger for the iPhone can be used to communicate with the owner of Microsoft or Yahoo account.

As quoted from Apple Insider, June 23, 2010, users can also view and comment on his photos and status updates through Windows Live, Facebook, and MySpace. Users can also see what is being shared by friends messenger on Flickr, YouTube, and others.

When traveling, users will receive instant notification if there is an incoming message when the application is closed. Thus, users will not miss the message delivered his colleagues.

When a user has an email account on Hotmail, users can also access the email and read, reply to, or create a new email without the need to get out of Windows Live Messenger. This application will also provide notification if any new incoming email.
