The New Playstation Move
Sony officiall
y launched their PlayStation Move PS3 add-on at this year’s GDC. The Move controller resembles a microphone and press shots show their HFB-Top shines as one of four different colors; we assume this is to identify different players in and out of gaming! Sony says the device for its incredible degree of precision and almost nonexistent (1 frame) of delay, which was evident at a press conference in a live demonstration. This makes the use of the PlayStation Eye to track users’ movements.
For games that require the use of the Wii Nunchuk analogue stick-how is used (but without wires!) In the secondary controller. It allows PlayStation Move, which will be used during role-playing games and first person shooters like Sony with demos of SOCOM 4 . Press conference has shown the device used for different types of games, applications were obvious sports games such as Sony revealed sporting champions, a collection of sports games like the Nintendo Wii Sports compilation available at launch for Wii. The level of accuracy offered Move promises to make the sport model is more realistic.
Sony went on to show a game called Gladiator duel using two motion controllers, one in each hand, to really immerse the player in the fight. The compatibility of new technologies is represented by Little Big Planet to be treated Move. Also demoed was Sony’s new Move Party title which uses the PlayStation Eye camera and Move controllers to create an exciting augmented-reality style gaming experience.
This product looks like a real winner, and Sony seems to want to see this new technology in the homes of its pricing strategy of the United States. In the autumn of this year at a price below $ 100, users can get their hands on PlayStation transfer Starter Kit, which includes the PlayStation Eye, move the controller and games. PlayStation Move measure will also be available on its own or bundled with a new system, PS3, although the prices of these options had not been announced.
We can not wait to get our hands on this new technology – it looks great, and with all major game developers to high-tech firm can be a real Wii beater … fingers crossed Japanese prices will be so enjoyable!
